Competence in the area of Ethics and Principles
Dr. McIntyre
4/06/2011
This is part of the work I have completed during my Argosy Master’s Program for Adult Training and Education. This is an example of work that demonstrates competence in the area of Ethics and Principles (Argosy, 2011).
Reflection on Work Sample Demonstration of Outcome
The work that demonstrates competence in the area of Ethics and Principles is assignment M5A2 from the course E6805 Integrating Technology into Classroom Curriculum. This assignment illustrates my knowledge of the use of the educational theory of Ethics and Principles and my writing skill. This assignment reflects the aspects of the educational theory of Ethics /Principles and the effects they can have on the overall curriculum. This assignment also reflects my writing style.
After completion of the course, I have created a modified version of the assignment, it is reflective of my current level of knowledge and skill. The following is the modification of assignment M5A2 , E6805 Integrating Technology into Classroom Curriculum .It is reflective of the fact that now I have more knowledge of Ethics and Principles, than when I began my program. This is due to the project I created which demonstrated some of my understandings. I now also pay more attention to the policies governing Ethics/Principles in integrating technology in the curriculum.
Areas for Improvement in the Work Sample
The area I feel I need to improve in as a result of learning over the course of my program is clearly stating the benefits/penalties of correct use of technology to learners and colleagues. I would change my writing to create obtainable objectives that may be suitable for all learning styles and abilities.

Concept Mapping
Dr. Sorrell
2/10/2011
As members of the InnovationPublicHigh School technology integration team, Group C, we have identified social, ethical, legal, and human issues that can complicate the process of technology integration. We have considered the demographic characteristics and learning needs of students at the school.
One of the important aspects of the Educational Technology Standards and Performance Indicators is the focus on social, ethical, legal, and human issues inherent to the process of educational technology integration. To make sure impartial and student-centered use of technology exists, teachers must have both the comprehension and skills to address many issues. According to Argosy (2011) they also need to know how to model these strategies in their teaching and how to support their students in dealing with the issues themselves. Individually we have created a concept map to help visualize the recognized issues.
