Dr. McIntyre
3/27/2011
The work that demonstrates competence in the area of Collaboration is assignment M7A3 from course E6211 Strategies for Teaching Adult Learners. This assignment illustrates my knowledge of the educational theory of Collaboration and my writing skill. This assignment reflects the aspects of collaborative efforts among learners. The assignment is about the use of Collaborative Learning as an instructional strategy and I also used collaborative learning strategies doing this assignment with my group. This assignment also reflects the collaborative use of suggestions in writing to create the presentation (Argosy, 2011).
Reflection on Work Sample Demonstration of Theory Outcome
After completion of the course, I have created a modified version of the assignment, it is reflective of my current level of knowledge and skill. The following is the modification of assignment M7A3, from course E6211 Strategies for Teaching Adult Learners. It is reflective of uses of collaboration by means of interaction between learners in the presentation and interaction among my group and I. My group and I also use collaboration to create our individual presentations which contained appropriate
Areas for Improvement in the Work Sample
The area I feel I need to improve in as a result of learning over the course of my program is in the area of appropriate selection of teaching strategies which were to be used by the learners. Proper implementation of strategy is important, just as well as choice of strategy. Different learning outcomes require different strategies. I would also make an improvement by adjusting the organization of the writing, utilizing the correct punctuation and grammar to communicate more effectively. Use of appropriate punctuation and grammar will lend to the clarity of the assignment.
